Jessica became a part of the College Internship Program as an intern, working as a Job Coach and Social Mentor, in August 2015. In that same year, she obtained a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University. While in her school programs, Jessica worked as an Assistant Manager, Program Coordinator, and Youth Coach at On the Edge Rock Climbing Gym where she helped to develop a program geared toward youth to help increase leadership skills, team-building, and confidence through an outdoor recreation medium. As a youth coach, she instructed and demonstrated the various techniques for competitive success while encouraging and fostering a positive self-identity, strong team morale, and a clear mental focus. Jessica is truly driven to be a helping presence in the lives of others, being a positive part of their personal journey to happiness.
When Jessica is not spending her time with the CIP team, she is busily running around after her son and husband. They can be found either rock-climbing at their local indoor gym or surfing the beautiful waves of the Florida coast. She also has a passion for traveling the world and getting the chance to experience the diverse cultures and people that the world has to offer. She has been lucky enough to travel to China, Australia, Costa Rica, and many of the Western European Countries.
