The Berkshire Center’s Halloween extravaganza was a frighteningly good time! On Friday the 28th the student senate hosted the Berkshire Center’s yearly Halloween party. This year we had many cool costumes, fun contests, delicious treats, dancing, and a scary movie afterwards.
The first contest was an apple bobbing contest where Joe had the fastest time and won a trophy and a delicious caramel apple. The second contest was a mummy wrap contest where we had 16 contest pair up and see who was the fastest at wrapping their partner up with toilet paper. Wesley and Jon took first prize for this contest and received their own Halloween chalice, a skeleton straw, and some creepy drinks.
The costume contest was the final activity we had, all of the students who wanted to show off their costume lined up and did their walk on the runway. We had all sorts of costumes including vampires, video game heroes, movie monsters, Norman Bates, witches and many more. The costumes who won are in 3rd place, Jimmy with his Shadow costume, 2nd place, Alex with her scary Freddy Kruger costume.
The 1st place prize went to Andy with his zombie costume. (He did a great zombie walk.) After students snacked, danced, and had a great time. Thanks goes to the student senate for raising $70 dollars for the party. To check out the Halloween party for yourself go on to Flickr!
