A big congratulations to the winning teams from the first part of the Duck Bucks Game! The game is based on points that the student teams earn as a group to encourage them to work together to teach each other how to build skills. The winners got to claim their prize — a trip to Six Flags! The students had a great time going on all the roller coasters, enjoying the holiday decorations, and getting into the spirit of the holidays. We stayed together as a group throughout the day, and the students could not help but comment on how happy they were getting to have the whole day to hang out together, get to know each other better, and just have fun. Nothing could take the smiles from their faces as they spent ten hours riding all the roller coasters that the park had to offer. Some students, Evan and Kristen, even paid a visit to Santa Claus! As you can see, the students did more than ride roller coasters on this day. They strengthened their friendships, taught each other, and gained experiences that will last long in their memories. The day was a total success, and the students enjoyed having a good time, with great friends.
