In Thursday’s 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. class, a number of girls were justifiably complaining about the cold — one in particular, who was sort of curled up on the couch that’s in this rather unconventional room (it’s actually not a classroom at all; it has a couch, some scattered chairs, and a table around which there are additional chairs).
Anyway, as the evening pressed on and the comfort level grew worse, the one girl, Katie, again voiced her concern about the frigid temps.
Suddenly, Dylan — grabbing his big, furry floor-length beaver coat — stood up, walked over to the couch, and said “Here you go,” as he handed off his cuddly wrap to the shivering young lady. A collective “Awwww” was heard, the girl thanked Dylan for his coat-turned-blanket — I did, too — and, well, there you have it.
Chivalry is not dead!
