The spring semester just ended, and the students are all off to enjoy a much-needed summer break. I’m very proud of the CIP students. They worked very hard this semester with their internships. A lot of our students have improved in different areas they needed to work on since the beginning of the spring semester. There has been a tremendous amount of progress.
Our students here at CIP take pride in their internships, which are geared towards helping them learn different employment skills that will prepare them for future jobs and careers. It’s a stepping stool and a way to gain different types of experience one needs to excel with a career. The CIP students are learning different types of skills; administrative, accuracy, computer skills, communication skills, organizational skills, etc. that will be very beneficial for him in the long run.
Some of our student’s intern at KPFA radio station, Hearts Leap Preschool, Spectrum Schools, Berkeley Public Library, “Friends of the Library” bookstore, and the list goes on. Keep up the good work CIP!!!
