On September 11th, we went with other Brevard Center students to the Kennedy Space Center. It was Brevard Residents Appreciation Day and admission was free. We expected a big crowd but it was a small crowd and we didn’t have to wait in long lines.
We really enjoyed the bus tour because it took us to see where technicians were working on building a part of the International Space Station. We also liked the Shuttle Launch Experience. It was very cool because it made you feel like you were blasting off into space. We saw the Rocket Garden, too, where older models of rockets are displayed. http://blog.collegeinternshipprogram.com/wp-admin/edit.php
It was a really cool experience.
